Ok, I'll Point out a issue: your including everthing anyone has ever shot in the regular ammo list. I would steer the regular ammo list towards a list of common house hold ammo for certian barrel sizes - a 1" list, a 2" list... (no BMX pegs) Also, having a "ammo you can eat" section, although funny,...

Bolt ammo
Ok, some ammo I made: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/car2/BoltAmmo1.jpg Seen here, sitting next to it's sabot. One of the main ideas here was that it would be easy to remove from anything it imbeaded it self in - simply screw it out. Also, it's heavy (maybe 130 grams) and quite aerodynamic, ...

SaladTosser: Yeah, you get "net recoil" (the gun has velocity after firing) from a dryfire because you launch the air, and air has mass. I guess that you typicaly don't call air "ammo", but anyway... Yep, If by 'estimated projectile speed' you mean what, say, the GGDT (which assumes a unmoving gun) ...

What shape, size is your chamber? You might be having trouble getting an isomolar distributation. Because you used steel for the chamber, your probably not going to get a new, large diameter one. Try a chamber fan. I regard a cannon failing to fire with a weak spark a symptom of other problems, in t...

Yeah, I hate age discrimanation too! Yesterday, I found out you can't buy epoxy at walmart 'till your 18+! It seems that policy-makers don't understand the practice of mischeif... we make due - Can't get epoxy? Use something else! Anyway, just bring you mom. Give her the cash, and tell her to buy it...

The weight of the piston shouldn't matter; let's examine a dry fire: .===[] .| === .[]| Initaly, piston forwards, gun in inital position. Piston is pushed back, same force pushes main gun forwards. Piston is stopped by bumper, movment stops. Result: valve opening pulls gun off shoulder. (ammo recoil...
