What is the formula? Can they exceed the accuracy of hgdt?Stabilizing Finn wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 11:03 amThis is just a guess but I would say roughly 1100J of energy at muzzle. Few years ago I experimented quite a bit with high mix hybrids and figured out some formulas that can be used to estimate muzzle energy.

Re: Failure to break through 10mm steel plate
picture thread for reference , that is extremely impressive, congratulations! Can it be compared with the 7.62×39mm intermediate rifle bullet? I know that the bullet fired by ak47 can pierce a 10mm steel plate, but the cross-sectional area of the bullet is different, which will affect the penetrati...

Re: Failure to break through 10mm steel plate
About the only way you're really going to get an idea of muzzle energy is to run it through a chronograph, or if you don't have access to one, shoot into a ballistic pendulum. The latter is very easy to set up; with a mobile phone as camera ad some calculations you can get some very accurate result...

Re: The needle valve actually failed at 150×
I don't know its maximum working temperature, but it is a metal hard seal, so I think the temperature should have little effect, which may be a product quality problem.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 4:53 pmAh, but what's the maximum working temperature?the maximum working pressure of my needle valve reaches 400mpa

The needle valve actually failed at 150×
I can't understand that the initial pressure of 150× and the theoretical explosion limit pressure should be less than 110mpa, but the maximum working pressure of my needle valve reaches 400mpa. Why did it fail?

Re: Help for spark plug leakage problem
Do you think a self-made epoxy spark plug can work better? I would make something like that: Untitled.jpg Using this sort of fitting: Untitled.jpg Yellow is a plastic cup or similar insulator, glue to the fitting, stick your electrode through then pour marine epoxy. Thank you for your advice. It lo...

Re: Help for spark plug leakage problem
Does anyone know how the ignition device of larda keeps the insulation and seal between the electrode and the casing? His transmitter works many times at 200×, and I need to get more advice. Thank you all!

Help for spark plug leakage problem
I have ignited up to 150× through the spark plug, but under this pressure, the spark plug can't seem to keep its seal and start to leak. Is there any solution? Do you think it is a feasible scheme to make a self-made high-strength spark plug?

How accurate is your hybrid gun?
Can a stable chamber pressure be achieved by filling a fixed amount of fuel with a syringe? How much does your initial speed fluctuate? Because of my national policy, I can't get a barrel with rifling. Can a musket achieve long-range precision strike?
