it cost me about 50 cents to go from 1-1/2" to 1/2" threaded with 1 flush bushing and then i got a brass fitting for about 4 bucks bringing it down to 1/8" and i can remove that and screw it in to any gun i want to use at the moment

with that kind you just have to get the hole the correct size, but it is still really not safe. Instead, use an Air Tank Valve(A threaded shrader you have a tire valve) and some bushings to get down to 1/8" then just stick on some teflon tape and screw it in much safer and easy to replace for maybe ...

yeah this is a nice cannon but you should reconsider using a tire version shrader valve they are not that safe because they have no threads and i dont believe are solvent weldable. Use an air tank version shrader valve and reducing bushings its much safer.

i would say no spring or atleast a weaker one. The diaphram should not be touching the barrel when there is no air pressure so make sure thats not happening.

hmm well that diagram you linked to says a sch40 1" T not a brass one so something might not be sealing. You should have 1 place for a pilot valve and 1 place for your air source not each on the same hole. And what exactly isnt working is the diaphram not releasing off the barrel or what?

ok well first off its called a diaphram not a piston. It should not be tight against the well and it should be flexible if its not flexible it cant seal the barrel or get the air to the chamber. Do you have a pilot valve to release the pressure from behind the diaphram?

ok throw out the o rings and that one u linked to isnt the same it used a pilot valve to release air preasure and a bypass to increase pressure this one the pilot valve moves the piston with air pressure
