This is absolutely one of *the* most pimped out, badass cannons I have ever seen. Custom from one end to the other. I'm frikkin dumbstruck.
Two awards for sure; one for the gun and a special award for sharing all the drawings and details. Very nice.
Hmmm... I *do* know a guy with a machine shop ...

I used a fat bolt with steel and rubber washers at each end and a pipe nipple for a spacer.
Got them all at Lowes. The ones I made weighed a pound and we put one of them right through a 22" monitor.
No pics but we made a video...

New (?) Slug ammo
I made a sort of slug ammo for blasting some monitors. It's just a bolt, a piece of pipe, some steel washers and a couple rubber washers.
It seems to work pretty well. We made a video:

Thanks rna_duelers, I haven't done much shooting yet, just finished it late last Sunday. I'll be doing some shooting this weekend. My last gun was the BFSG-4000 (also posted here) and it was putting golf balls through 3/4" plywood. I'm pretty sure this gun will prove to be much more powerful.

It's finally finished! I have my first Direct Injection gun. It's got a built in fan and the ignition system is a self-contained, removable unit.
I'm using MAPP gas and this thing sounds like a frikkin 30.06 when it goes off. I really thought I was going to blow it up the first few times I fired it ...

I guess I'm being denser than usual (which is actually fairly impressive, we're talking depleted uranium here). Are you talking about attaching the torch stem directly to the 5/8" hose via a compression fitting? If I get rid of the business end of the torch (the piece that screws on to ...

With all due respect cardinals08 and dragon finder I've been writing software and web sites for about 20 years and I'm pretty sure reediting old posts would just make it tough to follow the flow of the conversation and since this is mainly text data I doubt it makes much difference with respect to ...
