that does sound like a good idea.. but i don't think it would be very aerodynamic... and it would probably be pretty expensive. you're saying to glue pellets together, correct?

thing is, if that is flying, and hits something hard, the pv could fragment, which is a lot more dangerous than chunks of wax.

plus, when i make them, i make like 15 or twenty at a time

and when they do fragment, they eventually dissolve and don't need to be retrieved. using biodegradable pellets ...

Airsoft Frag Round

So basically, i have been trying to find a way to make an impact fragmenting airsoft round for my pneumatic cannon. I took a 3" section of 3/4" pipe, and plugged one end with clay. I then poured in melted wax almost to the top, and then filled it about three quarters of the way with airsoft pellets ...

Well, the balck dahlia was an actress named elizabeth short, who was brutally murdered back in the 30's, i belive.

More importantly, there is a melodic death metal band called the black dahlia murder. The text is from the band logo.

edit:dornep, i used regular masking tape, and thank you ...

Found the best way to launch them is by using a cardboard sabot. I'm getting them at least 100 meteres with my ball valve pneumatic.

Love the cannon, compact, clean and well built. I'm glad to see more and more people making guns like this one for airsoft. Oh, and it's nice to see someone on this site that can spell "grenade" instead of gernade. :thumbleft:

This is probably the best gun I've seen on this site as far as practicality goes, I gotta say i love it. Im wondering how tightly the lip of the barrel fits against the gasket. Also, what's the diameter on those footballs... been searching but can't find an answer.

Nerf Question

I have been looking around for the nerf pocket howler footballs, the whistling ones, and I am wondering if anyone knows where to buy them online. Also, they fit well in a 2 inch barrel, correct?

Brutal 3/4" Ammo

I'm not sure how much they vary in size, but a steel mouse ball with the rubber coating stripped off fits pretty nicely inside 3/4" pvc, and with a bit of wadding, makes a disgustingly powerful, almost unbreakable ammuntion with a large mass compared to the size.
