Re: "Offtopic-posts-topic" NSFW

Small world, I start nursing classes (been taking the few pre-reqs I needed after being out of school for over five years) next fall. It's been fun learning about the bones I've broken over the years. :p After this blows over (whichever way it does) you should try your hand at building again. It's ...

Re: "Offtopic-posts-topic" NSFW

Its been a good ten years since I've actually been active here, and it's good to see some of the old folk still around. I'm happy to see that things are running smoothly thanks to PCGUY's continued oversight! Ashamed to say that I haven't had much time to get out and build much lately, the last coup...

D_Hall, there's another name I haven't heard in quite a while. Seems like I have more catching up to do than I thought.

Re: Is spudding dead?

Tossing my two cents in... I think that the problem is the push for too much innovation! All the fancy cannons that utilize intricate designs and moving parts are great and show an impeccable technical understanding and application! I think this demotivates those who want to but may not know how or ...

I'm baaaaaackkkkk!!!!

Howdy folks! Some of the newer guys may not know me, but a couple of the older members here might. Used to be a mod, apparently not anymore after the update it looks like... :? After a long hiatus, I'm finally back in the game and looking forward to be back with some new builds! How's everyone been?...

Lemme rephrase that. I wouldn't recommend it, but I have never built one personally. I'm in the process of building one*, but until I garner more experience with hybrids, I'll err on the side of caution. If it's steel, I wouldn't be as weary as with PVC. *Details coming soon, it's one everyone is su...

Aluminum will be fine for that. However, no hybrid should ever be fired handheld if you value your fingers.

@jackssmirkingrevenge, what's wrong with dissappointing sex? hehe It's a hell of a nice gun, very well thought out. Glad to know you share a passion for the hobby. And man, I have over 20 working cannons, and have 4 in the works. You can never have too many spudchuckers. Tell your dad you'll help hi...

That would technically be considered a terrorist device under Federal statutes, so if you're gonna try it, be careful. Cop stops you on your way to a game with one of those, and it's gonna take a lot of explaining as to why you have an anti-personnel explosive device, regardless of whether it's for ...

No offense man, but you need to do a lot more research on hybrids. Not trying to be a jackass or anything, but you have basically no understanding of them except for part names, and that's not enough to build one. Your enthusiasm is great, but I would hate to see you get hurt.

The thing about a big combustion chamber is that performance increases become negligible after about a 1.5:1 chamber to barrel volume ratio. A bigger chamber will simply give you more of a boom, but if you don't have a long enough barrel to take advantage of the increased gas volume post combustion,...

Wow, and here I picked my name because I feel that ambiguity is much more interesting than something that gives an image. My initials are ABR if anyone feels like guessing.
