Can you please explain more about this burst disk?

I have had my own ideas... and I finally made one.

I got a basic pneumatic blow gun, just a normal, stock, workshop blow gun... shoved a sealed PVC pipe on the end, and smashed a cork onto the end of it...

Started the compressor, and gave it 110 psi, the cork flew about 20 metres ...

You would be suprised mate. A simple chip off that space shuttle made it explode, completely unexpected. If you were to continue using this, I would seriously consider wrapping your combustion chamber in thick cloth, this would catch most of the parts, but to be extra secure, I would destroy the gun ...
