one more question, then ill shut up.

so i tried to fire my gun at 25 psi, and it wouldnt fire. is there a minimum pressure that it takes to fire a coaxial piston gun? if you guys couldn't tell by my username, and all of my questions, this is my first time building a pneumatic gun, and i do not know too much about the whole piston deale...

yeah i obviously did do something wrong. is there a way to get the endcap off, and is it neccesary to remove the endcap to fix the leak? there is only really one big leak, and the rest seals very nicely. i just need to fix this one spot, and i dont feel like cutting the endcap off (again).

OH NO!!! a leak. what is the best way to fix it.

so i got my gun all built, barrel seals very nicely, and i got everything glued up. so i went to pressurize it, and it sprung a leak on the joint between the chamber and the end cap. i am wondering what the best way to patch up a leak is. i cant see any reason why it should be leaking, but i hear a ...

over the summer i had a job as a welder/steel fabricator. one of the guys i worked with had an oxy-acetylene cannon, and we could launch a 4 inch solid steel ball about 400 feet. before you make one of these, make sure you use 1/4 in steel pipe, with an endcap with a very strong weld. otherwise, the...

its a neoprene seal. didnt work so well. so the glue finally did dry, and we fired up the air compressor. everything looked good when we checked it over. so we started filling it up, and at 50-60psi, the barell came flying out of the chamber! i guess we forgot to seal the barell. whatever, the air c...

i think i have it working. i just added a little bouncy ball thing to the end of the piston, and it seals really nicely. i got a 3lb resistance spring, and it seems to be holding fine. just inside waiting for the glue to set up. going to go pressure it up, and see what it does

i was thinking about using a bouncy ball to seal the 1.5" barrel. i saw this on some one elses spud gun, and thought it would work well. also, how big of a spring should i use?

thanks
