The air compressor is a great idea but why not just find a high flow electric air pump from an air compressor at the same junk yard, replace the seals, and reuse that. Or if you really want to make one use an compressor from an old fridge and attach that to your propane tank. Not to down you but it...

Seal material and not revealing it. Hmm, looks like soft-core vinyl but that's just my opinion. Nice looking though, minus the cracks and stains. My question is what would make us purchase yours over say the Mauler? Oh, and I'm 29, have a chronometer, a good bit of experience, am a business owner an...

Well, I'm actually using bar stock to accomplish this but decided to make them hollow to reduce weight. I'm just boring them out first and then adding end plates made of the same material. The only issue I have is that it seems a bit wasteful considering the piston's travel. Considering a one part w...

New Piston Valve..

Hey guys I'm taking a break from building the Man Ray (All cast aluminum piston gun) and am making a few new valve design with my new lathe. I'm curious as to what you think a better design would be? Currently the valve is 2" T with 1 1/2" porting in and out. The threads have been turned down to fit...

Yeah, I'm definetly going to go with "low flow" here. A 1/4 ball-valve is REALLY optimistic for a non-machined first gun. I'm working on getting mine to trigger with a push button micro valve but mine is all machined aluminum.

And no damnit... No one shall see the Swarm until its complete...

I placed a weight on it after I had removed it from the oven. Actually I placed it in the sink, put the weight on it, and then ran cold water over it.
