hell, if your going to do that you might as well extend the pilot "T" and make it long enough for a stock. i take it that you want to be original, and therefore you are not using the same layout as Hotwired's copperhead prime? Well, i could extend it, mcmaster doesn't sell exactly 4' of .5" copper ...

one problem with the design, you need the schrader to be on the pilot side, it wont fill from the chamber. Ah, thank you, i really don't know how QEV's work, most of the pneumatic cannons i have built used a spring operated ball valve. Would have sucked is no one told me about that and i had to fin...

A way to do a sabot is take a potato, ram it into a small peice of the same " pipe your using for a barrel, then pop it out and cut a slight depresion into it for the golfball to fit in, just pop it in there and fire!

What i would do anyway.

Ok now i figured the fps with the following method. Take the distance you shot the projectile from (25...

To solve the honking just mod it modding is really easy so you shouldnt have a problem doing that.

Yes, the valve is really limetting preformance; barrel pressure never exceeded ~20 psi, IIRC. I'd expect an enormous improvement if you used a 1" sprinkler. (which acctualy has a bit more flow [~25% more] than your barrel can use, but a 3/4" would limmet preformance... so I'd pay the extra couple d...
