It would take either a stupid or smart attacker to continue running at someone who is reaching for a gun. A stupid attacker would think "I'm faster, I can beat him" and continue his assault. A smart attacker would know that he has time on his side and not waver. However, an average-intelligence thug...

Funny, I have lived my life thinking JSR is an aussie.

I'm going to go get wasted off egg nog with the rest of my underaged friends. Then get run over by a reindeer, much like Grandma did.

Thats assuming you can mix it right. No hydrogen. At all. Its bad stuff for non-metal cannons.

You'd be safer off playing with PAM in your cannon (*cough* benstern)

What he said. Hydrogen detonates, not burns.

It won't explode if you're not using solid propellant, since most liquid and gas propellants don't produce enough pressure to cause any problems, but with a solid fuel, if you put in too much, it will still ignite, making big problems. You'll be OK if it jams as long as you stay away from the barrel...

Wait so does this spin or move back and forth? If its the latter, then you have a piston valve, but since you said butterfly valve, we'll assume its spinning. You're going to need some sort of bumper, because it's gonna go pretty fast, so you need a spring or something, because a piston-type thing h...

Well first, your videos didn't work. Second, of course it's the highest performing duct tape cannon I've seen. It's also the only duct tape cannon I've seen. I have a competitor! I made the highest preforming tissue box and paper mache cannons to this date! *Grabs duct tape and cat food* off to bui...

Yes, they can be piloted, but sometimes they may only half open and the air will kinda leak out the barrel. Also my old bike pump likes to leak a little air sometimes and that can even stop it from sealing.

Oh and I just noticed, you can make your barrel a lot longer, a few feet, unless you're shooting nets or grapeshot or something.

Who cares about whited text. To be honest with you, I've been waiting a long long time for the chance to quote you renouncing ABS.

Use teflon tape. It should pretty much always be used when screwing things together on a pneumatic.

Ooh a George Foreman grill (halleluja chorus) Why do people go through so much trouble with minis what will eventually fall apart/be stepped on? You could just spend more time shooting it, cuz mixing the fuel in a chamber so small won't do much. I'm not saying I don't like it, its better than mine (...

Whatever fits down the barrel is my philosophy for ammunition. Nice find, but my parents don't like firearms so that stuff isn't really readily available around here.
