I just tested this crude prototype and it produced an impressive amount of thrust for its size. It is constructed of a peice of half inch pipe about 6 inches long. Beverage regulators generally dont have pop off valves set that low, the pop of valves are ussually designed for tank over pressure (i.e. set at over 900psi)
I have had great luck with beverage regulators in my projects and they should work well for you unless you plan on running pressures higher ...
