so i have a sg. i pop it open and cut the wire going to and from the switch. then i lengthen the wires.
but wouldn't the longer wires lower the electric level due to resistance? makeing the perfomance of the sg ...

Stuck NPT fittings
Probably a noob question. I'm almost done building my first gun, but I'm having trouble with the threaded fittings. The male fitting is NPT Sch80 PVC, and the female fitting is NPT Sch40 PVC (this is for a combustion gun, I couldn't find the male fitting I needed in Sch40). Anyway, I can't get the ...

But a remote switch is dangerous. Any wirless signal (old cordless phone or a remote control car) could cause it to go off at any time. Wouldn't try it.

Unfortunately I already bought some 4" sch40, and after reviewing the pressure and temperature derating charts for sch40 I've decided putting more than 20% of the chamber volume in oxygen with sch40 wouldn't be a good idea. I'll probably ...

Metered oxygen and propane
I'm building my first spud gun, and am starting off simple. It's going to be a basic inline PVC unit with a stungun ignition. But I expect at some point (probably soon) I'll get tired of opening the base cap, ventilating, adding some guesstimated amount of fuel, getting irregular performance, etc ...
