I did the same thing with scba tanks that firefighters use...I wasnt satisfied with the small tank outlet threads so I had them drilled and tapped to 1"NPT....They are even larger than your oxygen tank but lighter since they are fibre wrapped aluminum......They work very nicely but I would definitel...

It is most likely a high pressure 850 psi reg on the tank ...Buy a cheap paintball gun reg and you can regulate the pressure down to whatever you need......Smart parts Ion regs go very cheap on ebay and can regulate the pressure 0-250psi....Are you talking about swapping the HPA reg on the tank with...

Yeah william, unfortunately I saw your mod program after I started modding valves....Too bad cause it would have saved me some head scratching trying to figure out the problems I was having..It was strange because I didnt start having a problem until the 7th valve I modded so I assumed It was a defe...

I have been toying around with an idea I came up with for a multiple grenade launcher with a rotating cylindar similar to what you want to design ....I had an idea after I saw some pumps at work that operate with magnetic seals and run at 200psi discharge pressure..The magnets are the only force sea...

Great looking mortar.....It would be welcomed on my paintball field any time........I am glad you posted the link to the Nuker II as this is a prime example of parrallel sprinkler valves on a beautifull cannon with only a few minor flaws...#1 it is way overpriced and last but not least , both 1" spr...

If an extra sprinkler valve will provide about 10fps extra to the shot, and piston valves are better, how much performance would be gained from two piston valves on the same launcher, provided they are synchronized? Say, 1.5" piston with the same setup. Given a fixed chamber pressure , Maximum flow...

I have had this same leak problem on occasion after modding a few Rainbird sprinkler valves...If you drill and tap your 1/4" blowgun fitting even slightly off center , sometimes this will interfere with the spring seat on the cover of the valve since you drill most of the spring seat away for your f...

I agree with Jack on this ......The second valve would be better utilized if you incorporate it into a double or multiple barrel design...I have made manifolds using five 3/4" barrels and fire 75 paintballs a shot by loading 15 balls in each barrel...Very intimidating on a paintball field to say the...

Many fields wont allow you to use PVC air chambers on your launcher at all ....I allow them at my field but you must have a safety pop off valve installed (90psi max) .....I am starting to see more players constructing launchers for use in my scenario games and unfortunately many of these players ha...

You need to take into account the fact that you will be using threaded fittings so they must also be schedule 160 .The weakest part of the pressurized system will always be at your threaded connections so you must take this into account and cant just design your cannon around pipe working pressures....
