The "U.S. Army" and the "m1911-A1" gave it away for me. Also, the rear sight on a 1911 is not dove tailed in, so that gave it away. As did the the two different serial numbers as well as the fact that it is not a 1911-A1 design

Glue, then paint. The reason pvc cement works is because it binds the plastic together and that wont happen if there is paint in the way

I assume you found yourself some 1/2'' pvc. Keep it around 150 psi or so. It is only going to be as good as your solvent welds.

The easiest air gun to build it end cap, pipe, ball valve, pipe.

It looks to me like your valve is your weak spot on the gun. I think you should make and all metal piston/diaphragm valve that will handle more pressure.

Other than that I think the muzzle break looks great.

There is really no way to make a worth while compressor that is compact and fits in your hand. the more portable compressor that is worth anything is going to be like a 2 gallon gas powered compressor, and im not even sure if they make gas compressors that small.

Use masking tape (painters tape) to make it fit. It doesnt have very much friction and also is not super thick, like duct take. Just use lithium grease or wheel bearing grease. You could probably even use vasoline.

Generally you need about one second or so worth of spray. 10 seconds is WAY too much.

Are you using a compressor for filling? for most coaxials, you need to slam that piston against the sealing face and build up pressure as quick as possible. most need at least 20 psi or so to seal. That is why i am recommending you use a quick connect fitting rather than a schrader valve.

I have not plugged it into HGDT; however, i have made enough cannons to know that it should go much farther and be much louder.

The one and only thing i can come up with is the fan is pushing the gas to the forward part of the chamber and it isn't mixing well. Or maybe i need two ignition points ...
