OOPS... used the wrong solvent cement....

I just built my first pneumatic cannon out of ABS and realized i used a heavy duty PVC solvent. Should i scrap the whole thing or trust it will hold?

Note, i have tried it out a few times. i took it to 85 psi. no leaks. seems to be ok. But from a safety standpoint?

iron is the main component in steel, making steel an alloy. typically, alloys are stronger. as far as being stronger in the terms you are thinking of, id say steel. Stainless has chromium, which is mainly for corrosion resistance, not for strength. so for standard durability... steel. And to top if ...
