Re: Large hybrid
Yes, i was quite sure you would be the one to point it out. Well, big fuck-off hybrid, Norway... it wasn't exactly a mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes   Fantastic shooting area you have there! It is awesome to see users from 2008 still active! There aren't many of the original "cadre" le...

Re: Caselman air machinegun
It's actually full auto only, the trigger sear is directly linked to the trigger and does not reset until the trigger is released.

Nothing keeps you in this hobby better than seeing the fruit of your labor launch something at considerable hasteLockednloaded wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 9:06 pmI almost forgot how satisfying a successful launcher is!

Looking forward to seeing it in action.

"Outer Diam" is the inner diameter of your chamber tube.
"Inner Diam" is the outer diameter of your barrel for a coaxial cannon.
If your design is not a coaxial, the "Inner Diam" should be zero.

You should try filling the cans with water, although not recommended indoors, in my experience the hydrostatic shock usually pops the cap off and makes a mess

Re: Agitator for a BBMG
Interesting concepts shown in the drawings. Which of these did you try? Which one worked best? I'm afraid it's all theoretical, I never actually prototyped any of these designs. I proposed something similar here . One possibility to organize the bbs and save air, is as follows. The holding oring on...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
Here is my test, in this old video, but applied to an engine for an airplane. Very, very cool! I also like how your family seems willing to help with filming around devices that sound like they could explode at any moment :D Is it possible that the pressure generated inside the combustion chamber b...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
You... you want to hook up a BBMG to a jet engine? That sounds like a plan, I love it! So you would have the engine running continuously and redirect the flow into the BB chamber when you want to fire? That thing is going to get hot though, I don't think epoxied fittings will last... will you be usi...

Re: Unusual Ammo and Barrel Construction
It is impossible to stop thinking about what the captive piston can suck, due to its inertia mass, from the back, after expelling the projectile, perhaps a measure of combustible gas. 8-) I had no idea about this kind of technique, it seems simple to me and it works very well. With the same combina...
