Pneumatic gun are of course slimmer by alot but what turns me off is the portability and i have no knowledge on pneumatics

I'm so sorry for the poor illustration.Nope its not a pneumatic, the pump is just any ordinary pump for balloons.the pump basically provides air so that the combustion in the chamber is successful.
And about the ammo i'm going for AA batteries or this,
