Yes, that is sad. I go around and take lawn mowers and stuff people throw away, figure out what is wrong with them and then sell them.

It is a good way to learn about all of that kind of stuff, and it is also a good way to make money.

My current gun has a 8.something to one ratio, it is a 30" by 1 1/2" chamber with a 24" by 1/2" barrel because that all I had laying around.And it shoots very good. According to EVBEC I would need a 158" by 1/2" barrel to make 1.2 to 1, and it would almost double the velocity.

There is a wire from the end of the ignitor to the plug, and there is a small wire that runs down the side of the ignitor but bothe ends are hooked up internally.

I just built a combustion gun with a bbq ignitor and a automotive sparkplug, the problem is the the plug only fire if I hold the metal part of it.

I need to know how to fix this.

I just built a very similar gun, mine has a 1 1/2 x 2 foot Sch 40 Pvc chamber

and a 1/2 x 3 foot Sch 40 pvc barrel. I am using a ball valve to shoot it though. I am also going to put a 5 foot barrel on it soon.

I made a cannon with a 1/2" PVC barrel and it will shoot bottles about 60 feet at 30 psi.
