are you using bbs or airsoft bbs? because airsoft bbs should fit well inside 8mm aluminium tube because it has 1mm thick walls. All I can tell you is that they're plastic and yellow...being in Australia, none of this stuff is exactly common/well known about because bb guns/airsoft is f@(%!#g illega...

I reckon I'll get most of the stuff for this tomorrow, but I'm just wondering what sort of system I should use to keep the bb sitting in the barrel without rolling out?- I reckon I'll either go with the breach-loading design or some sort of magazine, if that works better. look forward to your ideas ...

it's all good fellas; it's all part of what I'm asking anyway so no worries! so s.man building a piston would be heaps better for performance etc. then a blowgun? it's it's heaps better I'll have a look at making one! I'll also have to check out getting some brakeline soon; I don't really want to go...

thanks for the replies again guys; yeah i realised it probably doesn't need to be semi-auto, just as long as i don't have to pump it up after each shot! cocking or whatever would be fine tho schmanman- yours is heaps good man- it's a piston design tho right? i really can't be bothered with that for ...

hey yeah I'll probably pump it up using a compressor plugged into the cigarette thing in my car- it's taken a marble cannon to 240psi before, so no worries! nah no bb guns I'm afraid...that's what I get for living in Australia. So I've heard brakeline would make a good barrel- where would I get this...
