well he asked a simple question worthy of an answer. my personal experience ive had good luck with both clouds and vortex. the vortex shoots harder in my opinion.

that block and the paint job is a beauty, great job. im sure it tears up targets like crazy. you mentioned a couple bugs, could one be a lack of bb's feeding constant? if so maybe grinding the side plates a little more so the opening will be bigger so the bb's will flow into the block faster and ...

Teflon Tape is just a lubricant to help your pipes be tightened fully. If you don't know that and you aren't capitalizing the first letters of your sentences then you probably need to wait a while before building a hybrid.
