in your average vortex gun which shoots roughly 50 to 100 rounds a second there is no need for hop up becuase the target is saturated with bbs. my vortex gun has a 9/32 3 foot barrel on it, the bbs spread out at id say was a 3 to 5 degree angle after they exit the barrel. I think it would have enough time to expand through the whole tubing, handle, tubing, vortex block all the way down the barrel and out..

However due to the rules and regulations for our Airsofting, no adjustments to fps can be made after the round starts.. so I would have no need for another regulator...
