2-3/4" exhaust pipe from any auto parts store has a Inside Diameter of 2-5/8ths of a inch. ($30 to $50 for a ten foot piece.)
A tennis ball fits perfectly into them.

Decent size spudgun would need one cartridge with every shot..

Made a chart long ago by unloading an entire 12g CO2 cartridge with the PSI results vs Chamber size in cubic inches.
This is at 72 degrees. Hotter and psi goes up, colder and the psi drops.

The main point of this would be to act as a longer distance launcher/shower gun for suppression. Could also be used as a mortar to have bbs rain down on the enemy.

I use 8oz(?) paper Dixie cups. I tear the seam, hold the cup closed, fill, and load into the breech. You can use bb's, dried peas ...

Just an FYI 2.75 tail pipe (you can get a automotive stores) has a inside diameter of 2.625 inches (2-5/8ths). New tennis balls (fuzzy ones) will not roll down but will have to be pushed. Older tennis balls will roll down just fine. Look in the trash cans at tennis courts/clubs to find them.
