I'm into a 2" Hunter valve right now, but I'm seeking some guidance on another thread before modding. I'd hate to ruin it....

No luck in removing anything....I guess I'll try some grease, but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly the solenoid does to open the valve....maybe I'm missing an adjustment screw....

I read the troubleshooting guide too....
I have a Hunter ICV 2" valve. It honks when releasing air.
I'm using a battery setup to power it. Seals fine, honks when solenoid is activated.

I read something about lithium grease. Should this be applied to the diaphragm.
