don't forget to link back to spudfiles

Yeah I've put a few spudfiles links in there.

Haha my video is getting quarantined

I just got back from a day of loading up on tons of free fruit and vegetables and a long bike ride. Lots of farms in the area have more than they can harvest and some will ...

Okay, I just entered mine, with a disclaimer :P
Is this how its supposed to be like?

Instructions are then and what not, but i'll doubt anyone will have the knowledge to know how to build it.

Edit:

How long does it take to show up on the Launch ...

Complex projects are fine. The most steps I've seen for a project is 45.

The audience at instructables is pretty broad, but most of the comments are done by the younger readers. When the topic is at a higher-level, many people ask more appropriate questions.

Here's a project that won a contest ...

If there was say, a punkin chunkin contest, would I be able to enter with the entry for this laungh-it contest, or is that against the rules?

The date of publication would likely make it ineligible. Each contest has a range of dates.

Punkin chunkin, eh? Now if that was a jack-o-lantern lit with ...

I can't talk about any details yet, but we will be having one. Here's the list of winners from last year.

Edit: Just looked at some entries, im defiantly not entering now. People are making pneumatics that aren't glued together and use corks to attach a bike pump to the chamber, and people still don't get how to make it.

Which ones are you looking at? And besides, why do you think I came here to ...

Since the competition is already halfway way through, wouldn't all of us here be at a disadvantage for page views? I know that's what counts, as more traffic to your site the better but if it was a proper competition surely it would be judged on stuff like:

Originality
Over-all awesomeness
How ...

Hey, Welcome to SF.

Two Questions:

1) If you've already made a video like mine below, can that be entered? I don't have the wooden furniture thing I shot anymore. The only thing is it doesn't show my gun shooting, just shows the golfball going through the wood.

2) Can anyone, of any age, of any ...

Entries in the contest need to provide detailed instructions with photos of how to build whatever the device is.

This is the interesting part which makes this nothing like the previous spudfiles contest, as it seems to eliminate the more complex launchers which are practically impossible to ...

or just a cool launcher with a cool insructable
maybe i should get my self together and make a decent how to on deus ex machina

It's about all three, really, since they're all a part of it. To really do it right, you would have some cool project with a ...

I feel that the more good information there is out there the better.

But you're right, a hybrid would be a risky first project.

Any version of a launch is fine. Straight up, angled, and directly in front of you all work. So far we have a couple rockets, a few catapults, and even some paper airplanes entered. It's a pretty wide open competition.

Entries in the contest need to ...
