Could you post specs of your piston valve I was trying to build something similar (2" tee) but I turned out that it really difficult to build a piston valve with malleable iron fittings

A silencer is indeed impossible for a launcher this size with these pressures, but you could make one to reduce most of it.

The wood piston looks well made, I can't see it failing, even at 500 psi. Just out of curiosity though, what size is the tee that houses the piston?

Looks like a close to ideal way to put that fridge compressor of yours to good use. The piston could be a tad heavy and I might aim that pilot forward with a brass elbow...just to help keep the high pressure pilot blast away from my body parts... :wink:

Hello. As I have played around with copperguns a bit, I have become quite fond of high pressure ( :D ). Now i thought it was time to scale things up a bit. You might notice that this is about the same setup as my previous copper launcher, just slightly bigger :)
