Good stuff, I've got a set of 3" camlocks sitting on a shelf that I'd love to put to use in a combustion like this. :D

You could always buy a larger 5 or 10 gallon tank to run your bbmg off of if you find that 1 gallon isn't enough.

How did you get the flow of mix right? Did you just vary the flow of butane until it combusted or was it more scientific than that?

Nevertheless, I'm very impressed and can't wait to see some more videos! :D

Steel tubing isn't too expensive but it is heavy... Aircraft Spruce has good prices and sells by the foot.

Did you ever see a fan installed in a refrigerator or a/c unit directed at the body of the compressor? Yes, I ripped a compressor from a dehumidifier which had a fan that blew over the compressor. It was probably well over 20 years old though, so they might not make them that way anymore. I'd like ...

Has anyone tried to build a gun that safely harnesses the power of DDT? I've seen some research papers on PDE's that claim achieving DDT in 11 inches or less with a 1x mix of propane/oxygen. They use a schelkin spiral to increase turbulence for such a short distance. Any thoughts on whether this is ...

Where did you get your pipe from? Was it a store or a construction site?

I'd still like to give this a try, but without breaking the bank. So far I haven't seen any pipe at any of the construction sites around me but I'm keeping an eye out...

To speed up cutting out burst disks, there are large diameter hole punches like this which can punch through aluminum foil. A disk cut from a 2" punch fits perfectly into a 2" union.

Good idea, but honestly the hydraulic press you're talking about will probably break. I've heard a lot of stories on a few machinist forums about the frames bending on the Harbor Freight version. However, with a properly built hydraulic press it would definitely be doable...just not as cheap as you'...

I definitely need to try this. Maybe I'll even take it a step further since I have both an A/C pump and a dehumidifier pump. I could add low pressure air into one and then use that one to feed the other.
