Hay again people. Actually, I too wonder if anyone got the image I uploaded. My computer got fucked up and formated some time ago, so I no longer possess my own schematics =(

Thats a great idea I will try this and how important is it to "de-electrify" the wires before putting the fuel in because I was thinking of using this for an advanced combustion and would be annoying to take the cap off and touch it after every time I fire

Hello fellow spudders! :D

a couple weeks back i was in a desperate need of a good and reliable igniter for my combustion. I didn`t have acces to a bbq-igniter, stun/tazer or anything like that. BUT! i found my electrical flyswatter!

it was a 3v rechargeable flyswatter. I modded it up to 9V and ...

I prefer the lateran spark lighters. They are very hot and very reliable. I have seen the electric igniters in action and I was never impressed.(In other words, they suck.) For your combustion chamber, I would say that it should not be more than two feet long. I have noticed that the more compact ...

if you got access to a electrical flyswatter you could allways try out a flyswatter-igniter =p

i was going to get some destruction pics up but the C/B transition got tored apart of the pressure when i fired it

im making a new transition right now. Gonna test it sometime tomorrow

Jokke Himself: This is the first I've heard of using an electric flyswatter in this application. A how-to is in order and maybe even a wiki page.

Edit: You said you put 18V through it and it did not work as well? Were the two batteries (assuming you used two 9Vs) ran parallel or in series?

in the north of norway where i live we have to get the parts from huge storages (usually there are some spare PVC there) or at plumber-stores (wich are RARE. i`ve only seen ONE my whole life :lol: ) but its god damned ...

propane, methane and butane works just fine :D

but if you really need more power, the best thing to do is to build a bigger chamber (or spudgun if wou wish) or just get a slightly smaller barrel ...

unless you got remote controlled ignition and somewhere to take cover
(it will give your spudgun a "little extra power" tho)
