Actually its not the end of the story...
Pvc pipe and cpvc pipe have very different o.d's for the givin size. So it would be impossible to glue it together with suffecient strength no matter what glue you use.

type M copper is best

Is it pressure rated or not?
If its pressure rated then you have absolutely nothing to worry about with a combustion(which I am assuming is a spray and pray).
If the pipe or fittings say nsf-pw on them it is pressure rated, and if they nsf-dwv on them it will blow up in your face spraying shrapnel ...

Although if possible I would reccomend that you increase the size of the opening on the burst disk holder. Looks like flow might be a little constricted.
