im guessing water was run through them for testing or something like that.

i fixed the honking. turns out the solenoid seal was not good enough. can i buy a plug or could i just use epoxy? also there was a little residual water in the valve and it makes a spitting sound in the last few seconds of filling.

when i fill it, it just honks. i have read the sticky and put a ball valve in front. it still honks. i also took out the little white part underneath the diaphram. it still does the same thing.

it doesnt have flow control, im trying to find out whether it has a guide rod or not.

i just bought a hunter pgv 1" sprinkler valve and was wondering if anyone has ever used one or if they even work. i dont want to tear into it and find out it wont work.

current ball valve- 3/4"
desired sprinkler valve- 3/4"-1"
never mind i dont want a piston valve, i dont understand them enough
barrel size- 1 1/2"x3ft
chamber size- 1 1/2"x6ft
blowgun for sprinkler pilot valve

im sorry for asking, i didnt think i was going to get smited.

how much of improvement could i expect by switching to a sprinkler valve or piston valve? right now my c:b ratio is 2:1 and im shooting about 90 psi.

double barrel shotguns (over-under) are the standard for clay shooting and most bird hunting. why do i want to barrels? MORE DESTRUCTION. i really like that manifold joint. but jackssmirkingrevenge, can put ur drawing into noob terms, i know your idea is credible im just really confused. lol

idk if im lookin at the diagram right but is that just epoxy acting as the wall? i just like the reliability of parts off the shelf. or maybe get a joint that actually looks like a " Y " and make it side by side double barrel. im not 100% if im right but should the airflow divide evenly both ways if...

i think a seperate category for build along cannons would be good. i think it shows the real work put into the cannons and will help everyone gain a little more knowledge about them. and their fun to read. im sure some people want to share their construction experience.

do u have any idea of the range or accuracy of these?

i was foolin around with random muzzle loading stuff today and discovered that .54 cal sabot rounds fit PERFECTLY into 1/2" barrels. i couldnt imagine what kind of damage that would do. it would turn your cannon into a gun just without gunpowder.
