Yes the small chamber is there to help with the chamber seal. Sadly however I never had used the dart, I'm saving it for when I have a better target.

Just a reminder you can get sch 40 pressure rated parts at any ace hardware store up to 4". I built my 4" coaxil from parts at work (I'm a manager of a Ace store) and all parts on the gun are pressure rated. I fire it all the time at 130 psi.
