Since when did this turn into a discussion on how electricity can kill you?
Jees guys, keep it in your pants next time!

Nice work on the disposable camera flash ignition. :)
Neaten it up a little and you've got yourself something to work with.

Since when did this turn philosophical?

We're on a Spudgun Forum.
Non-Spudgun Related includes; Theories, projects and serious questions.

This thread doesn't particularly further anyones understanding of much..
Just as a 'I did this, I'm better than you' thread.

Pointless.

Sounds like the gap was too large for the arc to jump. When the Main Spark Gap in my TC doesn't fire, the safety does.

Ahh good stuff. :D

Are you using a BBQ Ignitor?

I'd use a flyback IMO.

Well, you spray it in the tube.

Then close one end and ignite it.
Tennis Ball then goes flying..

You might aswell just put them in the thread when you showcase your cannon...

Could you imagine trying to sort and organise all damage pictures and videos in with the relevant cannon?
You'd just end up with what we already have. Except in a section entitled 'Damage Pictures & Videos'.

I don't really get the combustion chamber and stuff.

Thanks !
In the air around the ghetto mortar. That should do the trick... :D

Indeed.

Air Cored Resonant Transformer.
Turns lower voltage/Higher current into Higher voltage/Lower current.

As rp181 said, it works just like any other step-up transformer.

Played around with the coupling and tuning. Still needs a bit of a tune.. The nice guys over at 4hv.org helped me with the secondary - primary arcing. Problem was a badly grounded (ungrounded infact) secondary. Fine tune next, but I think I'm pretty close. [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Atf...
