Help with an inline vortex BBMG

Hey, I've recently been having trouble with my BBMG with regards to getting it to fire. I pump the air chamber I have constructed out of pressure rated PVC pipe up to 120 PSI through a shraeder valve I have installed in one of the end caps of the pressure chamber, but when I pull the trigger of my b...

Ah! Of course, O-rings. Thank you for the clarification. I think I may attempt this design.

I thought the rules specifically mentioned an exception for paintball and airsoft. Also, as I mentioned in my previous post, I do not understand how this bolt action design would allow you to retain pressure in the barrel. Can some one help clarify?

If the bolt had part of it out side the barrel, then how would the barrel be able to hol...

Alright guys! I have completed my first air cannon which operates using a ball valve as a trigger and a shraeder valve to feed air into the compression chamber. It fires airsoft bbs at high velocities ( I lack a chronograph so I don't know the exact speed) as well as small "rocket gliders" which I h...

Thank you for your concern guys, but I was not planning on using it past 100-150 psi. I simply stated that it was pressure rated so you guys could tell it would be safe to use for high pressure applications as opposed to non-pressure rated pipe would could explode with dangerous shrapnel. How is it ...

Good projects for new members

Hi! I've stumbled upon this site after my searches for pneumatic pvc air cannon designs. I have some pvc pipe rated at up to 600 psi and a pretty good ball valve that I intend to make into an airsoft gun. What designs would be good for a new member like me to try and construct? I would love to build...
