It is a good idea, problem is, is that my cartridges have two rims. This will give me something to think about though, thanks

Thanks, and yeah I agree on both accounts, it was just a concept to see what I could do. I have been wanting to add some sort of tube fed, or gravity fed, but i have run into some problems there. When there is one cartridge on top of the cartridge in the barrel, the ridges of the two lock, and keep ...

Each cartridge is 4" long with a diameter of 1.25" so it can fit a good portion of most spuds, I would like to come up with some new heavier more destructive ammo for it though

Pump action Cartridge Potato Cannon

This is just my first prototype into this kind of idea. This cannon uses cartridges that are filled with whatever I want, and then clipped onto the side of the cannon. These cartridges are 4" long and 1.25" in diameter. The cannon itself is just a regular 2" piston valve cannon, that I have used for...

Actually one of the reasons I chose to use a pneumatic piston for the elevation is because the piston can absorb the recoil. When the cannon comes back, the piston compresses, and pushes back up again. There is no leak in the piston, and the elevation after each shot stays exactly the same and befor...

I try and workout daily, I work at a job were I move roughly 7-8 thousand pounds of concrete and drywall everyday, some days around 10 thousand, usually in increments of 80-180lbs. On my days off I like to bike 14-30 miles, or, if I am not too sore I'll do planche push-ups, and spend some time on th...

Thanks for the comments, the damage is quite good, I haven't had a chance to put together a video of the damage quite yet, I don't exactly know the max elevation, but Ill guess somewhere around 45° maybe a little less. I don't really need anymore than that, but if I want more later all I have to do ...

Automated Semi-auto Golf Ball Cannon

It has been a long time since I have been on the forum, but I thought I would show you guys one of the things I have built this summer. I have had the idea to build a stand that is completely remote control, and given that I already had a semi-auto golf ball cannon it made it easy to get multiple sh...

Yeah, if you look at my first post in the showcase, I will also post a video to show completely how it works, and explain how the loading mechanism works, and thanks for being the only one to actually talk about the semi auto part, everyone else is too busy talking about fittings. Ill have videos of...

It doesn't matter if it bonds the two pieces together, cuz they wont bond correctly and strong enough if the primer isn't coated well enough, and like I said it will be painted anyway so I wasn't worried about a few primer spots showing

I wasn't too worried about the primer since I am going to paint it anyway, and I wanted to make sure that it seals perfect, i didn't feel like risky safety for cosmetic appeal
