Re: "In the world of spuds today"

I haven't been doing much lately, sort of got into building bikes  I have turned the BFG into a MFG, cut down the barrel , removed all the semi auto bits, cut the body down a bit and now using a diiferent gravity fed mag which holds 20 BBs :D 111 (2).jpg 111 (3).jpg 111 (1).jpg Started making...

Re: Short question topic

I'm thinking the red dot is actually a beam of light, 1st fixed point is where it hits the reflector and the 2nd is where it hits you're eye, like a reverse laser pointer but not strong enough to blind you.

Re: Pneumatic Pumpkin/Apple Blaster Cannon

Here is a pumpkin launcher, it is a much bigger project than an apple launcher, pretty simple though, only 35-50psi. You're gonna need a big compressor to keep this supplied. Can't see what he is using, might be high pressure air tanks :o

Re: "In the world of spuds today"

Making a slush delivery pipe at work from 2" NPT threaded weld on nipple and 2' of 2 1/4" thin wall tubing, it was just talking to me saying 'I'm a spud gun barrel, what can you fit in me' :P 20190906_132950.jpg 20190906_133020.jpg Then I had to ruin it with a 90 degree :? 20190906_134633.jpg

10k fun ride on the local trail went ok, struggled in strong head wind at the end so going to try a lower gear ratio next. Going from 48/16 to 48/18.

Re: Built a SUB (stand up bike)

8km on the trail with my SUB, different technique to riding a normal bike, more like climbing stairs but you're actually going somewhere. Wouldn't want to go long distance but good for a short workout. Shortened the cranks to 90mm and changed the pedals. Next addition will be a hinge so I can fold t...

Re: Built a SUB (stand up bike)

Elliptigo make them in a couple of sizes, that's where I got the idea from. http://shop.elliptigo.com/ElliptiGO-SUB sub.jpg PR3E19149_Black_clg.jpg Just ridden it in my driveway so far but it feels good, might need to play with handlebar position. Mine is a single speed as I wanted to keep it simple...
