Woodsball is my game. I get that speedball is faster but I'm more of a strategic person. I actually take more of a sharpshooter role in games. There's not much chance for that in speedball. I just enjoy knowing that for every 30 rounds you shoot at me and miss, I can put two in your face without a s...

Oh no no no. I'm just using thin wires. and I've experimented with my mechanism a bit and found that one of the most effective filaments is actually a thin strip of the foil wrapper from a Hershey bar. The foil heats up enough to light the paper aflame and sometimes even lights the foil itself. I'll...

I'm not sure where it would be going. Electricity travels in a loop. It comes out the positive side of the source, and goes back in the negative side. Just a note, electricity actually travels from the negative to the positive. ABS shouldn't have any sort of conductive properties that would interfe...

The ever-popular "first cannon" topic.

Here's the specs. Keep in mind this is my first so it is rather simplistic. My total cannon length is about 8 1/2 feet. The chamber is 2 feet of 3-inch PVC with a female thread adapter and screw in cap on the rear. The front of the chamber has an adapter that drops it down to the 6 feet of 2-inch ba...

Well from what that says any potato gun thats combustion powered is illegal. Hmm. That sucks. I've read other places that said the ATF thing said they were legal though. I think someone needs to figure it out for serious.

Legal issues

So I'm new here and I bet jsut about everyone has asked this at some point but alas, I shall once again. Does anyone know about the legality of a combustion tater cannon in Oklahoma? I can't find anything about it anywhere. All I've found is that the ATF doesn't consider them firearms.
