Doing well. I'm married now, don't know if that bit of information made it to this forum yet or not... Moved a couple hours away from what was home, still with my same company though. Doing IT work while the wife finishes up pharmacy school. Being in an apartment and away from family, I really don't...

My, how things have changed...
Greetings fellas. Been a while. I don't have the money for cannonry these days, but I figured I'd drop by and check up on you guys. Things are certainly different around here. Tons of hybrids now, and I remember the days when the big debate was chamber-to-barrel volume ratios. Does anyone actually s...

You'd be better served aiming up. Curving the barrel will increase friction, causing a decrease in velocity. In paintball systems such at the Tippmann Flatline or the Apex barrel system, the paintball has spin imparted to it not by a curve in the barrel, but by striking the round gently against a ta...

Well, I'm mostly echoing him, but FWIW if you half the mass of your projectile for a relatively modest increase in velocity, you still get higher kinetic energy. For example: 10 kilos at 10m/s is 500 Joules. 5 kilos at 15m/s is 562ish Joules. Half the mass, 50% more velocity, ~12.5% more energy. So,...

That's quite an informative rant, but it's way too long even for somebody like me. I only read halfway through it. Maybe I'll read the rest later... It turned out way longer than I intended. My original intention was about half that length. I've since had a couple suggestions for other things I cou...

My longest distance I'd estimate at about 80 yards. Yeah yeah, pitiful I know. I only ever made one cannon then got into paintball and other projects. I once nailed a guy between the eyes at 120 yards with a paintball gun though! Had to walk it in a little, but I got him. Was the between the eyes hi...
