After looking at one of my propane bottles warning labels, it is suggested not to store the bottle over 120F/50C. I have on several occasions used a heated corn cozy wrapped around with a neoprene jacket. This works good if the bottle is not frozen but you want to shoot in the colder weather. I use ...

How would/could you accurately and consistently measure AquaNet or StaticGuard to compare it to metered propane/MAPP in a real spudgun enviroment? You can't really. It really is 'hit or miss' with 'spray and prays'. BTW: all my combustions with Tool stickers shoot farther than your combustions with ...

Of course it is porous. It is neoprene and not solid rubber. It is all those little holes that help keep your beverage cold or your hands warms. Usually there will be one side that is 'finished' and that works well for a sealing face.

If you were firing it within city limits, you were probably breaking a noise ordinance. I would talk to your local law enforcement agency and have them explain where spudguns fall legally in your area. After you find out from them call your county sheriffs office also. You might be able to fire your...

Heads up on the Polaroid circuit board. The Funshooter comes with a few different boards. And the one you have is not the good one. They fry real easy. Adding any more batteries to that board and the components burn. Silverdooty removed them from his camera post and was in the process of updating it...

Its a barrel sealing piston valve inside that tee, but that tee should be larger in my opinion to create the frontal surface on the piston where the initial force of getting it moving backwards is applied. http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/805/9128pu1.jpg If it is in this location, it sort of has ...

Camera flashes work great if you don't try to over power them by adding more batteries and capacitors. The printed boards tend to arc and then burn up. Another option is to keep the stock board and add an ignition coil. Use the search function of this forum, it has been discussed far too many times....

So where is your piston valve going in this? And is it a barrel sealer or chamber sealer?

Just fire your spudgun in a little white box like Jack does. They'll just bounce around and come right *smack* back to ya.

I was 11 when my parents were t-boned by a drunk driver. Both died. I'm 40 now. That's 29 years of not having any parents. That was 7 years of adolescent confusion that I somehow made it through. My older sister was given away by a family friend at her wedding. My daughter only has one set of grandp...

Pretty simple solution. When you disassembled your flash there was a third wire attached to the metal shield behind the flash tube. Basically it ionized the gas in the flash tube so electricity could jump the gap. Attach the third wire, which comes from a transformer on the board, to a third termina...
