Not too shabby. Did you use clear primer or cleaner? Last I looked at the rules # Discussion of shooting anything at any person and/or animal is prohibited, and may result in a permanent banning of your account. 1. The exception to this rule is for proper use of legal airsoft and/or paintball marker...

It's called R-value. A material’s R-value is the measure of its resistance to heat flow. Go back to school

I stand corrected, that topic has no useful information for you or anyone. Judgment_Arms is the only person that can get anything from that topic and he is not willing to share. While it did touch on rifling and what was required to propel a paintball to 300fps, you can't use that information, it wo...

Somewhere back in '03-'04(?) Cornell University created a proof-of-concept robot that could actually reproduce itself. If I recall it used magnetic building blocks, named after molecules.

Milling machines are great also, I think they're the only machine considered to be able to reproduce itself without any other machine. BTW, I heard a story once that a guy went in to the shop (first day) and put on a hard hat because the sign said Hard hat area.(but noone else wore them). So everyo...

Nice and clean this time around. The wood is probably absorbing some of the combustion heat leading to your lack of power. If you had an old Model T coil bolted on there instead of the BBQ sparker it would look pretty cool.

Typically your slower projectiles have a slower(not steeper or faster) twist rate. A simple comparison of muzzleloader velocities to your 5.56x45mm velocity and a comparison of twist rates will show that. Then why would the greenhill formula have a term that lengthens the twist the fast the project...

I was using muzzleloaders as an example and not 5.56x45mm NATO round. A .68 cal paintball or even a .50 cal paintball has more in common with a muzzleloader than a 5.56x45mm NATO round. I made no generalizations. Also typically your slower projectiles have a slower(not steeper or faster) twist rate....

Bluerussetboy, by “jumping” I mean being hammered so hard be the air that the wadded paintball skips right over the shallow groves of the rifling, with a 1 in 14 rate of twist it’s a vary real possibility. I have already made a prototype paintball rifle that had a bore rifled to 1-in-102 and about ...

For example, in New Orleans, an egg boils at 105 degrees Fahrenheit and in Denver, a egg boils at 85 degrees fahrenheit. This is because New Orleans is below the sea level so there is more atmospheric pressure so the needs to be more energy to get that water to boil to overcome the pressure (energy...

You're right j_a. Most of the time the seal will blow out over 200 psi. It also depends on the locking groove and the ball bearings. Real cheap schraders only only have 3 bearings as opposed to some of the more expensive ones having 5 or 6 to lock the fittings together. 3 bearings is not going to 10...

Only a bit more advanced? Add a chamber fan, even in a basic spray and pray you can see noticeable improvements.

As for the golf ball barrel size, use the search or maybe even the how-to section.
