Re: SA/FA Pnushnikov/Caselman-build log.
If it'll last one mag ( 9 shots) I'm fine with it. Haven't put that much rounds through it...probably won't anyway so why not? I'm all for compactness. To bad a short barrel would harm performance BAD...I'd love to cut it down to a pistol. The hammer, springs, the action etc could all be housed aroun...

Re: SA/FA Pnushnikov/Caselman-build log.
Taking the grinder to this build as we speak...cut off the grip and bottle-connector... The plan is to rebuild the grip around the mag and forward the trigger. The bottle will be replaced by a 12-gram adapter wich doubles as the front grip. This will give me more pressure in a smaller package. The en...

Re: Pneumatic Pressures: The Safe, The Possible, And The Cra
As usual, Brian's solution is elegant and simple.
Not many people would call me elegant....
My design is actually partially counterbalanced.
I still want the selfclosing element, so it's about 80-90% balanced.

Heej Jeroen,
Een QEV heet in het Nederlands een snelontluchter, je vindt ze het goedkoopst op http://www.mattech.nl
Helaas hebben ze geen foto bij het type dat wij gebruiken, heb wel een artikelnummer : 50002121

A nail in a caulktube nozzle, cut down to fit the barrel, usually works well.
You could glue the nail in place.

Re: Does volume matter???
It's powerful enough to hurt someone. Seriously. You or someone close to you perhaps. So handle with care..it's not a toy. Treat it like a firearm. We have a thing called the Spudwiki ( found in the buttons on the top of the screen) In there you will find lots of information ...such as: http://www.s...

Re: What music do you listen?
Haha..Thanks Jrrdw... It's not the playing that's hard. I got the fingerpicking and alternating bass thumb thing down. It's the fact that I can't find correct sheetmusic for this tune. Lack of time and a guitar that needs constant tuning kept me from perfecting it so far It's hard to hear the indivi...

Re: What music do you listen?
When I was younger I listened to Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer.... Strangly enough...I don't listen to music anymore.. except for the tunes I'm learning to play myself: I'm only able to play the first part..sorta. Most guitartabs I can find aren't correct.. Re: Upcoming 'flintlock' style pistol
Depending on the pressure you intend to use...you could replace the elbows leading up to the qev with a hose. That would allow you to make it break-barrel, with the barrel and reservoir hinging down to breechload while the valve stays fixed in position. I've ordered a ballvalve wich I intend to conv...
