growing your own ammo?

We have seed potatos at work and were wondering if anybody ever grew there own? If so what kind makes the best kind of ammo? I have some extra space in the garden so I was thinking it could be fun.

This is true several members of the local Jeep club use CO2 as on board air and have ran them for years. however if it does leak out faster we would not know. We air our tires down to 4-8 psi every weekend.

I am building it as a duel purpose gun, hybrid and high pressure pneumatic with just a change out of piston and caps. Thanks for the encouragement to keep working on this. Why do you need to change the piston? What is the difference between your pneumatic and hybrid pistons? Also, couldn't you just...

This may be a little off topic but I hope it will make sense at the end. You guys are thinking of small coolant compressors with small outputs, why not go bigger. Without going to far off subject I will tell you the off road industry have been using modified AC pumps for main air compressors. Still ...

Its your standard piston cannon, but filled with propane and air instead of air, so that when you ignite the fuel, the pressure increases, knocks back the piston, and flies out the barrel. Really cleanly done from what I can see. You are right. Thanks for the comments. There is not really much to s...

A few progress pictures of my handheld. the CPH

My handheld is a coaxal piston valved hybrid. Nicknamed CPH for short. The tee that you see will have a shrader valve on the bottom for filling and a port for two wires for the ignition. The method of firing the gun is to use compressed air behind the piston to seal it aginst the barrel. when the pi...

I am almost done with my coaxial hybrid. What I did is the piston has a 1/8" brass pipe off the back of it going through the end cap. I have a shrader valve on that witch fills the chamber behind the piston with compressed air and lets all the air out once the gun fires. I designed it this way so I ...

I will paint the chamber. I am going to switch over to duel ignition once I get it on the tripod. the end caps are ju...

I got a few pictures tonight. They should be pretty self explanatory. Post up if you have any questions. I need to get the barrel still, it will be 10 foot 2" steel conduit. This is my first hybrid so don't expect much. A few things I need to do is support the metering chamber, redo the igniter, I'm...
