Your idea is good. But I would be second guessing not use hydrogen around a electric compressor motor. You need a strong DC power source and for the electrodes stainless steel plates would be the best since often for best results people use salt in the water since salt is a metal makes a better cond...

To design a pneumatic paintball shooter would be easy, just look around for some and use google. Also I would suggest GGDT to figure out some decent design for power.

If you live around any wooded areas make a small shed in there with a padlock and hide the cannons in that, get your dad to help if he helps with the cannons. Simple pallet and tarp shed wouldnt cost much if you can get free pallets. Another solution would be to hide the cannons at a friends place o...

a cheap way to do it but no clue how effective it would be. 1. Carboard box cut big hole in the lid 2. Line the box with 1-2 layers of aluminum foil 3. A clear plastic and cover the hole in the lid (stuff you use to wrap food in) 4. Place the food in and place the lid on 5. Place in direct sunlight ...

If you plan on using other air sources that may not have a guage I would put one on but for just using a bike pump with a guage you probably wont need one. If you decide to get a guage you can just teflon the threads then use a tap and die set to make threads in the PVC.

With my cannon a 3 inch chamber by 61 inches, 1.5 inch barrel by 108 inches firing at about 125 psi connected and not connected to my air compressor and for a valve I used a ball valve, I got about 2000 feet.

That one looks alot better than the first you posted in this thread. The silver painted PVC is that pressure rated? If so looks the like is alright all around. But JB weld might have been a bit better than gorilla glue.

The booster pumps I am seeing are for water applications, so I guess the ebay auction was misleading. If you were making a water cannon these booster pumps along with a house water pump would make huge pressures.

Booster Pumps

Hello all, I am coming to end on my newest and first pneumatic cannon. My air compressor only does 125 psi which is perfect for my cannon but has anyone heard of a booster pump? If so whats the price range? and how reliable are they for increasing output. I have seen pneumatic ones and electric ones...

--edit--
Rather than start a new topic, heres a question. I wanted to know the pressure rating on a sch40 PVC union. I was looking at 4880K305 union on mcmaster but did not see a rating anywheres.
