Foam pistons

I wonder if its possible to make a piston out of Bluefoam? Its almost like normal foam but denser, harder and less flexible for the same weight compared to ordinary polystyrene..

ok...tried it.With painful results.I was spray painting me new gun when i absent-mindedly clicked the ignitor.pretty cool, flames shot out like a jet, burned my knuckles. ow.

The ignitor IS a piezo electric sparker. you could always install one in a tee.
