Ok I made a simple prototype with the screwed up pipes and a union I found because where I live, PVC is actually very hard to come by. This is why I'm not chucking them out, as I would have to wait 10 days for another shipment to come in. I'm not worried too much about the badly welded joints, as I ...

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I will use this gun at 20 psi or 10 psi. I already raged on her, and her mom is going to pay for all damage. Yayyyy :)
Edit: Mcrowley, she's around 12 but she acts around 6.

Oh no.

My PVC pipettes finally arrived in the mail, but before I could even open it I realized an EXTREMELY annoying person (my mom's friend's daughter) opened up my package and tried gluing together two 90 degree elbows. NOOOOOOO! Anyways, now I have a PVC pipe between two 90 degree elbows, but the PVC is...

I know that I could dye PVC with purple primer (possible weakening of the PVC though), but I have read somewhere in the forums that you could use abs pipe glue to dye the pvc black. Is this possible?? Thanks guys.

Nice gun you got there! :D I'm pretty sure that's a slide valve with a QEV, so it should be pretty nice going semi auto. I strongly suggest that you put a elbow on the chamber (im guessing its the vertical black tube) to make this gun much more compact and imho, better looking too. If you switch aro...

Cannon Design Help

Hey guys! I am designing an aluminum marshmellow spud gun, and I want to make sure my design works before I buy all the things from McMaster.com... So does this design work? Thanks! (Don't judge my horrible handwriting/drawing skills :P) http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/4651/img0458yf.jpg 1 Quick-Ex...

Ah thanks guys! I think I will get the right angle valve so that I can just buy everything from mcmaster. :)
newbie question time! :P
What do I do with the three holes (hehehe) on the mcmaster valve? There is the exhaust, the inlet, and the outlet.

Mcmaster Globe Valve

Hey guys! Does this quick opening globe valve (link below) open fast enough for a pneumatic spud gun? Thanks!

Ah, thanks. I will search up a guide on using Teflon tape correctly. Should I get 1 inch or 3/4 inch Teflon tape for use on the tubes?

Metal Pipes: Teflon Tape?

Hey guys. My friend wants to make an aluminum spud (after he saw my mini :P), but he doesn't know how to securely put the pipes/fittings together. I first told him that Teflon tape would work, but then realized that it would probably leak at high pressures. How can he put aluminum pipes/fittings tog...
