Re: Pellet gun
TO GIPPETO : it seems to me you know more than i do about barrels, what to you think about hatsan at44 long barrel ? a LW barrel cost 122 euros but right now the 70 euro for the hatsan sounds bit more affordable to me.... Anyhow if the hatsan is worse than my airsoft barrels already fully tested ( ...

Re: Semi-auto firing mechanism
[quote="Brian the brain"]A QEV and a hammervalve are a good base for a semi. In a similar way I made here, but QEV and hammervalve replacing a counterbalanced hammervalve. The basic function would be the same: or he can use a push of a button and a a 2nd valve to shut the air of the pilot, instead o...

Re: Pellet gun
I would use a hammer valve with 40-60 bar ( witch you may achieve with a fridge compresor) min pressure and a rifled barrel, for the distance you're talking about.... As about the hammer valve "how to" built there are lots of informations on youtube with people modding thre's guns... Myself i used a...

Re: Pneumatics: Without Expensive Tools
well, i made my guns with only a drill and a "flex". There are already made parts just good to put them together and make a high performance airgun as for example an car fire extinguisher, with only few modifications on it it can become a great gun. My latest tests was 25 joules power with a 0.86 gr...

Re: Charging a pen gun
I know I probably missed existing info, but I looked a lot. What is the best way to keep a pen gun from firing on pulling off the chuck? Is there a way to air up a schrader valve equipped gun without mechanically depressing the stem? Simply, remove the spring from the stem, and cut away it's pin. T...

Re: First build "Semi truck tire bead seater"
First post. I am entirely new to the hobby of "cannons" and what I have built is a "Semi truck tire bead seater." However, I will NOT be trying to write it off as a business expense on taxes. I have a few questions because I am disappointed with the performance. This air storage is all 4" schedule ...

Re: working on the hammer valve-VIDEO UPDATE!
I installed softchorono app on my phone today and did some tests : With the Qev and a 0.40 grams bb i got 790 fps. ( the gun was not fully charged, so i think it can do better) With the hammer valve( in the video) and a 0.86 grams steel bb i got 755 fps = 22.7 Jouls.....but again i think i can bring...
