About an actual ballistic knife: The spring in these knives is powerful enough to propel the blade to about 6 meters (about 18 feet) or more at 63 km/h (39 mph). They were not without drawbacks however: Because the projectile blade had no aerodynamic or gyroscopic stabilization, it was only accurate...

How do those pilot the QEV? Are they supposed to drain the pressure from the marker into the air when closed, and then fill the marker when open? So it's a really compact 3 way valve?

EDIT: Yep, just like that. Nice find guys! These seem so much easier to attach an actual trigger than other DCVs.

You could go to court, and probably win, though most likely it would cost large amounts of money for lawyers and such, and so it is not worth it. Fucking politics.

Expense, simplicity, idk? The OP can do whatever he wants. Anyway, a good diagram for a DCV/QEV system is shown here.

Vinyl dye can be applied, then glued, and is also the best spray paint possible for plastics. Not kidding.

Dude, this sucks. Sorry to hear about it, it was a nice gun.

This reminds me, I need to find a good spot in the middle of nowhere to test my guns.

crna legija, that is a really nice looking knife. The main problem with the QD is the really short "barrel" length, like an inch, and that is a beautiful solution. I am trying to think up an easier way to make one, but that seems pretty simple. And jor2daje, nice job there. I like it. Should be pret...

The volume of a cylinder is calculated with the equation V=Pi*R^2*H, V is volume, R is radius, and H is height. Do that for the inside measurement of the pvc and you have the approximate volume. To be more specific, the volume of a sphere is 4/3*Pi*R^3, so use that to figure out the volume around th...

I wish our pipe nested perfectly like that and all the couplers had nice round numbers for the OD. Hell, if anything was logical in this imperial system it would be a miracle.

According to Mythbusters, using intact newspapers to make pycrete is far stronger than wood pulp. This is my version: Get a segment of barrel material and lube it up Roll up newspaper inside tube Place tube in pan of water Put in freezer Alternatively, you can put an endcap on the bottom instead of ...

Forgot that a small barrel would decrease surface area and flow and hurt range. nvm
