Battery bounce :D You guys just might start wearing balistic eyewear after an unfortunate ricochet and a lenghty eye surgery :D

:? Can we see the rifling?

That scope could be doing more harm than good at just 10m... How did you mount it onto the barrel?

now tell me how the hell is it going to work with a hybrid
Don't ask me... I'm not into hybrids and probably never will.
If hybrids are half pneumatic and half combustion, maybe this is like 75% pneumatic and 25% combustion :D

By the looks of the piston, it is a balanced spool valve... but how are you going to pull the piston back? I don't see the purpose of the 3 90° knees and 3 pieces of pipe.. looks like it could be used as a handle... one heavy handle :D is it?

the cap length is 14mm long instead of 15mm because yours truly didn't take the 1mm thickness of the parting tool into account Hows the finish with the parting tool? :D You should cut the part so you have enough material for facing to the final dimension. You should really check those videos I sent...

I suggest that you connect the piston to the rod in a similar way as I and Technician1002 did. It will give faster opening times, and a safer gun, because there are no sharp rods launched backwards. Totally forgot about that... Thanks! This makes it a little more complicated, but you seem to like t...

Machining a QDV

I'm soon getting a mini lathe and my machinist is kind enough to teach me how to use it. I designed a QDV which encompasses just about every lathe operation I will be using on it... turing to outside/inside diameter, inside/outside threading, facing, parting, internal/external grooves... The QDV is ...

I started out when I was 13 or 14... now I'm about to turn 20. I never really got out of the hobby. It grows just like people do so there's nothing to get tired of. Well said... I hope I'll be able to say the same in 4 years.... because the laws around here are like a snare... the more you try to m...

That won't work if the inner barrel OD and outer barrel ID are very close ie. theres not much of a gap between the barrels. The hose clamp method doesn't require a hole in the barrel... and if your barrel is metal and has at least 2mm wall, you could actually machine a recess for the hose clamp whic...

I drilled from the other end that was flat - the side opposite to the hexagonal portion.

That worm screw is just like any other piece of metal.... it can easily be drilled with a drill bit :D

If you heat/cool the parts and join them, it will break only if the difference in dimensions is too big..... I could screw in that wood screw with piers if I really wanted to but I don't wait it to break

Here it is... I ended up using a 3mm drill bit since the 2mm was not cutting the metal... no idea whats up with that :? http://img3.yfrog.com/img3/2844/p5200010t.jpg http://img837.yfrog.com/img837/5654/p5200009.jpg I lightly hammered in a wood screw so it would just stay in to show you how it would ...
