Thank you all for the feedback. Anyone wishing to replicate the design and needs any pointers, feel free to PM me or ask here. I really, really recommend a high pressure pump - there's no worries about failure because it's all metal after all and on a small scale - and it really makes a difference t...

very nicely done, looks brilliant but is let down by that tacky front sight :-/ now that the deadline's been extended then surely you can come up with something a bit more M-16 like? Or take the front sight off completely and glue/screw an 11mm wide metal plate on top of the clear chamber portion th...

first reply to the thread:
There had been a similar proposal on spudtech, the design was a cloud BBMG with a barrel opening that led to several rotating barrels.

Only a 16g capsule of CO2 was proposed, so in a chamber of significant dimensions the pressure's going to be much less than 830 psi. Still, why not use pressure rated PVC and be safe?

That's better :)

How do you know how much pressure you're putting into the chamber?

Agreed, the latter valve is simpler to operate, offers better performance and is less likely to through you off target. Still, nice effort on the rifle, I like :)

the smaller one is 4mm i/d, 5mm o/d (the brass barrel is 3.5mm o/d so it needs some tape around it for the aluminium to fit snugly) and the larger one is 5mm i/d, 6mm o/d - your local model/hobby shop should stock these kind of sizes in 1 metre lengths.
