Re: 12g CO2 Adapter

Tap an 1/8" NPT and get an ASA adapter that will thread into it from www.palmerspursuit.com then get a regular paintball style with ASA threads.

Re: Rotation mechanism Revolver pneumatic

The mauser style cam is a very good and reliable way of doing it. You need to make sure than the spring loaded pin does not have a lot of play and that the carrier for it is also with minimal play. The reason for us going from a 2" cam to a 6" cam around the entire cylinder was based on the problem ...

Re: Is this a normally open or closed valve?

The clippard MJV3 series are an excellent valve. They are rated at only 300psi but we have ised them up to 800 with no problems. The smaller version (not the J(umbo)) is easily damaged at pressures over 300 even though it is rated the same. The MJV has great flow for exhausting.

Re: Paintball tank vs other air source

Ninja has a V2 valve with 30 percent more flow than the pin valve version. it uses a ball bearing to accomplish this. The SLP V2 it set to 300psi standard. Great at maintaining that pressure through the entire tank as it depletes. You won't find a better bottle reg. I would go with a Palmer stabiliz...

Re: Discontinuous Rifling

Smooth bore first to allow the projectile to accelerate with less friction then engage the rifling. Otherwise the rifling effect will lose rotation due to friction if it continues down a barrel post rifling.

Spudgun classified section?

I took a quick look and noticed there doesn't seem to be a classified section to buy/sell/trade parts. I have been contemplating having a "garage sale" of a lot of my fittings, cylinders and custom machined parts from various projects over the years that might help out someone's projects. Any though...

Re: Blow forward bolt, presssure and springs

You should be able to have the side of the bolt cover the magazine tube during the shot to prevent air getting in there. you will need a hole in the base of the magazine tube anyways to let the follower expel air under it so you don't get a 'jammed' magazine as you load it. If you don't put e hole i...

Re: Need help with paintball tank!

Submersible systems who make the Spare Air for Scuba diving use paintball compatible threads. They have 2.25" diameter tanks for $95 that are up to 27ci which will doible your air supply and still be a compact tank. Using a remote you could go up to a 112ci carbon fiber if you want. Another way to c...

Re: Blow forward bolt, presssure and springs

Just a few notes on solenoid driven blow forward operation. They may not relate at all but I am going to bring them up to hopefully save you some trouble. The launcher in my avatar is a variation of a blow forward system as the blow forward operation(especially at 40mm) produced a downward kick over...

Re: Multi-Shot Air gun Advice

Ninja paintball has great regulators for paintball tanks. The SLP is 300 psi and then you can get a regulator from palmer's (palmerspursuit.com I think) called the stabilizer that lets you regulate to whatever pressure you want. Use compressed air, not C02 for safety and better performance. Paintbal...

Re: 300 psi pneumatic, a couple questions

Why not buy two sets of everything and test one to destruction so you will know not to approach that pressure with the second build. Otherwise you will not know know close to failure you are which could be bad in the future, especially of you are compromising the sctructure over time.
