Re: electrolysis machine
Each plate is 3" X 12", there is 12 plates and I have 12 more for another cell. I can't determine your plate configuration from the photos. How many +, - and neutral plates do you have. Contrary to popular belief, "neutral" plates do very little if anything for gas production. Also the watter turns...

You're making colloidal salts from the stainless steel. Your electrodes are being sacrificed to produce the electrolysis. If you were to use silver electrodes, you would get a solution of colloidal silver, which is a great anti-bacterial agent. Using stainless won't guarantee a longer lasting elect...

Battery chargers (depending on type) give out more voltage than the voltage their charging to. I am in colorado, that is still very unusual. Perhaps make a video running through the system/it running. I will check the actuall voltage today. I wish I could do a video but with the camera I have you w...

Wait, are you storing the hydrogen and oxygen in the same tank? Because that's a perfect mix. A small static spark, and boom. Not little controlled boom. Big Boom. I'd be careful. The tube is almost completely full of water. there is very little space for storage and as soon as I am done I empty it.

Thats odd, it should not draw over 50A. What voltage? Do you have any steel parts? the color can be from rust. Another possibility: Are you sure there is no salt in it? If there is, the water turns bad as chlorine dissolves. and it produces chlorine, which is toxic. EDIT: I bet you have a short in ...

electrolysis machine
I built a electrolysis machine today because I was board. Like most kids when I was in school I built one with a couple of paper clips, salt and a 9 volt battery. this one I wanted a little bigger so I cut some .012" stainless plate up and built it in a 4" PVC tube. Each plate is 3" X 12", there is ...

Some noob questions. What could you do with this lathe? Does this have the same functions as a larger one, cutting O ring groves, Cutting threads ect. just on smaller pieces? I have wanted to get one for a wile now and this price point is hard to say no to. I have a harbor freight down the road from...

MrCrowley Witch wires go into the starting capacitor? I am betting you will find that the motor was the distribution block for all the wiring in the fridge. witch means some of those may go to light, fan ect. The only wires that should matter is the ones going to the starter. On mine I striped every...

so if i built an aluminum rubber piston it would work Possibly, But I don’t think you understand the amount of force it takes to compress it fast enough. Besides using stuff we can’t talk about on here a hybrid based ram would do the job but what is the point of that? Plus how are you going to cont...

I hate burst your bubble but it will not work. Think of a Diesel engine, it has a glow plug to heat the air in the cylinder and it still cranks for a few seconds before it fires the first time when it is cold. It is the very fast compression causing the heat that ignites the fuel not the pressure. Y...

At work we sell brass tees. For a wile we sold ones that looked like it was machined from 1 solid block of brass. Now we sell ones that are look like they are cast, they are much thinner. The old ones never came back. I have seen several of the new ones come back returned, used on high pressure wash...
